Border 'n Back

For the second time, I went to the Iowa border and back on my bike.  I did it the first time on Wednesday, July 11 and then for the second time today.

The route is on 63 which has a 6-7 foot shoulder the entire way.  You can remain far away from traffic for the entire ride except for two bottlenecks at the south and north forks of the Middle Fabius River.  You will have to face this four times.  There are also 4 to 6 spots where a gravel road or driveway meets the shoulder and spreads across the entire lane.  Otherwise the ride is very good for mileage.  From my house in the middle of town, the ride was right around 59 miles.
